Rebalancing of VDAB10 EUR and VDAB10 SEK

Providing investors with trusted, secure, and diversified exposure to the top 10 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, Valour’s Digital Asset Basket 10 (VDAB10) ETP welcomes Tron (TRX) to the mix. Launched in 2017, Tron is a decentralised smart contracts platform that boasts high throughput and low transaction costs.

As of the latest rebalancing, Valour’s VDAB10 ETP significantly increased its weighting of blockchain-based payments network XRP, with the basket comprising: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, BNB,  Cardano, Dogecoin, Solana, Tron, Polygon, and Litecoin, offering investors a balanced and diverse coverage of the ever evolving digital asset space.

Over the previous month, Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced a decline in their prices, whereas several altcoins demonstrated robust performance, with XRP leading the pack, surging by over 50% throughout July. As a result, the VDAB SEK product delivered a favorable performance, attributable to the fact that altcoins comprise 40% of the basket weight. The VDAB10 EUR product was punished by an unfavorable development of the EURUSD exchange rate and has therefore seen a weaker performance than expected with the surge of altcoin prices.
